25-26 Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative Analyst VISTA The Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative (BAWSI) is a non-profit founded in 2005 by women’s sports legends Brandi Chastain, Julie Foudy, and Marlene Bjornsrud. BAWSI mobilizes the women’s sports community to engage, inspire and empower the children who need us most. Since our founding in 2005, BAWSI has evolved to focus specifically on girls from under-resourced neighborhoods, who have the least access, but the most to gain from sports participation. Our programs focus on proven factors that help increase resilience in children living with adversity. As a VISTA you will improve and expand your skills in program impact measurement and communications, financial reporting, and business experiences. This position requires strong interpersonal, organizational and communications skills. Also, the role requires attention to detail, documentation, and follow-through in project work. An interest and familiarity with digital marketing will be useful in creatively gaining support for BAWSI. With the BAWSI staff, the VISTA will be part of the team that enables programs for improved physical health and mental health outcomes for our BAWSI Girls (located in the San Jose, CA area) through physical activity and sports participation. Furthermore, we know that girls who play today, become women who lead. We are part of creating future leaders in our businesses and local industries. Member Duties : The VISTA at BAWSI will be part of the 2025-26 Coach Across America VISTA cohort of 53 members. The Analyst VISTA will enhance the collection, tracking, and processing of incoming receipts and bills and produce regular reports identifying trends, significant factors in BAWSI financial operations. The VISTA will also analyze program impact metrics and package to support communications of BAWSI’s impact and provide regular operations support and planning.
