Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside an experienced project manager on some of the DMV’s highest-profile projects, receiving hands-on training and development. This position offers a clear path to advancement into a project management role within 1–3 years.

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally with a subcontractor
• Proficiency with submittals, RFIs, and change orders is required
• Experience in roofing, waterproofing, or sheet metal is preferred, but not required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent - STEM degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage all project documentation
• Prepare submittals for product approval
• Write RFI's for submission to design team
• Evaluate design changes for cost impacts
• Track project costs and estimate cost remaining
• Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders
