As an Associate Print, Mail and Scanning Technician with American Family you will mainly be keying and scanning. You will resolve discrepancies and may communicate with individuals outside of their department. Will operate a scanning machine and sort through mail. This position is a first shift position: hours being either 6:00-2:10pm, 7:00-3:10pm or 8:00-4:10pm Monday through Friday. In this primarily office-based role, you will be expected to spend at least 100% of your time (5 days per week) working from the Madison, WI office location. Primary Accountabilities include completing mail activities such as pick up, delivery, sorting, receiving, tracking and machine maintenance; ordering and maintaining stock of supplies; performing indexing accountabilities including verifying quality of images, checking completeness, inputting data to route documents, and notifying appropriate individuals; performing equipment setup, operation, and maintenance; assisting with developing/updating standard work for processes; training other employees; and precise self-tracking of task/process production numbers. Specialized knowledge and skills required include customer-driven solutions experience, attention to detail, administrative support or customer service experience, proficiency in PC software applications, and ability to work within a team environment. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required. Travel up to 10% may be required. Physical requirements include adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds and repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
