We are currently seeking a motivated and highly experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our growing team. Position Overview: As a Certified Public Accountant at Connally, Jordan & Associates, you will be responsible for providing accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to a diverse client base. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong analytical skills, and is passionate about working in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including tax planning and strategy. Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on accounting and financial matters. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional service. Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development. Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and tax laws to ensure compliance and enhance client service. Qualifications: Active CPA license required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus). 10+ years of public accounting experience, with a strong understanding of accounting and tax principles. Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
