The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Your specific duties will include: Preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns using Lacerte software. Providing tax planning and advisory services to clients across various industries. Managing and overseeing client accounts, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Analyzing financial data and presenting reports to clients with clear, actionable recommendations. Conducting tax research and staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations. Assisting with bookkeeping and financial statement preparation as needed. Specific qualifications for the position include : An associate degree in accounting or higher is preferred, or equivalent related accounting experience. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required. 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in public accounting, with an emphasis on tax preparation and planning. Proficiency in Lacerte tax software, as well as QuickBooks and Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Pay Rate Range : $90,000 - $110,000, DOE Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
