Primary Function:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized equine enthusiast to join our team. Success in this role requires someone who blends creativity with organizational expertise. They will oversee the planning, design, development, and launch of new products. This role involves analyzing market research, product design, cross-functional collaboration, and managing the product lifecycle to ensure profitability and alignment with customer needs. The Product Manager will be a key figure in driving innovation and efficiency in product management, from concept to launch.

Position Responsibilities: (including but not limited to):

Planning & Design:

• Analyze market trends to guide product decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during planning stage.
• Define design details and project steps.
• Schedule milestones for development and launch.

Product Development & Launch:

• Define product specifications, including size, branding, features, and functionality.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure design accuracy and resolve issues.
• Coordinate product testing to ensure quality meets target thresholds.
• Plan and execute product launches in collaboration with marketing.

Product Life Cycle Management:

• Regularly review product performance metrics (Revenue, Turns, Margin, Obsolescence).
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to boost product sales and address underperforming items.
• Review and update pricing structures based on competitive analysis and market trends.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Equine background required. Experience in the ranch and roping industry preferred.
• Ability to transform innovative ideas into detailed designs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across multiple functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

• Extended periods of sitting and/or walking (80% of time)
• Stooping, bending, twisting, leaning (15% of time)
• Lifting of up to 40 lbs. occasionally (5% of time)
