Job Description

Customer Service Representative

Start Date: 6/30/24

20.00 per hour

Training End Date: (length is 56 days)

Training Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm EST time, TWT on site, M/F remote

Post Training Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm EST time Remote

Assignment length: 12 month, possibility for conversion based on performance and business needs after 12 months

  • Builds knowledge to process transactions with the goal to demonstrate full proficiency in all brokerage and mutual fund functions designated under the respective training path. Maintains balance between quality and productivity to meet department standards.
  • Stays current following procedural updates or technology enhancements. Adheres to standard work/workflows, and actively suggests enhancements to processes. Efficiently leverages online resources to independently meet challenges.
  • Communicates verbally and in written format with clients to clarify incomplete or invalid paperwork. Works collaboratively to complete complex processing issues and exhibits a sense of urgency and accountability that requests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Participates in conversations around individual and team targets during team meetings, and consistently updates personal goals in a timely fashion. Is comfortable being visible on camera in team settings.
  • Provides necessary reporting, quality assurance responses, internal audit responses, and relevant paperwork as requested by Randstad, Vanguard Compliance, Global Security or Assignment Leader.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or related experience
  • Business related education and/or experience, Financial Services experience, preferred
  • Strong client focus and ability to develop relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Comfortable working in high volume situations with time constraints.
  • Strong problem resolution and time management skills.
  • Strong working knowledge navigating a laptop including Microsoft Office products

Training:

100% attendance is required during training, talent must be able to attend on-site to be considered for the role.

Schedule during hybrid training model:

M-F 8:30-5pm EST Time

Post Training - 5 Day Work Week

M- F 9:30-6pm EST Time

Other Details:

  • Typical work week is 37.50 hours. Overtime is periodically offered by the department but based on business needs.
  • During peak tax season (December to April) a mandatory 40-hour work week may be requested.
  • Role is remote after training, however if performance takes a dip or other performance management issues come up talent could be requested to come into the office on T/W/T.
