WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Schenectady, NY.

Job Function:

\n

• Night Shift.
\n
• 3x12: 7pm - 7:30am.
\n
• Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions.
\n
• Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience.
\n
• Close communication with all members of the healthcare team, as well as the ability to independently recognize the need for early intervention.
\n
• Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.

Job Requirements:

\n

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

  \n
\n

• Current RN license for the state of New York required.

  \n
\n

• 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required.

  \n
\n

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association required.

  \n
\n

• ENPC and NISS certifications preferred.

  \n
\n
