Job Description

Position Title: MIG Welder 

Wage: $17.00 per hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd

Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm; 3:30pm-12:00am

QPS Employment Group has a great MIG Welder position available at an established and busy company in Belvidere, IL. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. 

MIG Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Produce good welds.
- Make adjustments on welder.
- Maintain and care for tools.
- Position materials to create a positive work flow.
- Remove scrap material and garbage from work area.
- Follow up and communicate daily issues with welding area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

MIG Welder Requirements:
- Blueprint reading.
- Must be able to read and comprehend other work orders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work well and communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs, the ability to stand for long period of times, and the ability to walk, bend, twist and stand.
