HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MIG WELDER IN JOLIET, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a MIG Welder to join our team in Joliet, IL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MIG welding techniques and the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $23/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm
• Located in Joliet, IL

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding operations on a variety of metal components, including steel and aluminum.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
• Measure and inspect materials to ensure specifications and tolerances are met.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment in a safe and clean working condition.
• Conduct quality inspections on completed welds to identify and correct defects.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Maintain work area cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress and issues.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in welding preferred.
• Proven experience in MIG welding (1–3 years minimum preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of various welding tools, equipment, and safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must pass a welding test as part of the hiring process.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TIG welding or other welding techniques.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery or metal fabrication tools.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
