Job Title: Welder

Job Description

Join a fast-paced, production-oriented environment where you will perform Pulse (MIG) welding on mild steel. Using weld fixtures and symbols, you will consistently complete units in a set timeframe, averaging 2,000-2,500 welds per day. This role requires precision and consistency in cosmetic welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pulse (MIG) welding on mild steel using weld fixtures and symbols.
• Load and unload metal onto fixtures and pass units along the production line.
• Ensure consistent quality in cosmetic welding.
• Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals measured by the weld cell.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Pulse welding.
• Ability to read and interpret weld symbols.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Good memorization skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production welding is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing facility that is not air-conditioned and can get hot. The role involves bending, twisting, and lifting all day in a production-based welding environment. Adhere to strict attendance policies, as more than four occurrences in six months, including absenteeism or tardiness, can affect your position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
