Job Title: Lead UX Product Designer

Location: Malvern, PA

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Potential for Extension/Conversion)

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Lead UX Product Designer to drive the discovery and design of innovative AI-powered products. This role combines strategic thinking, hands-on design, and cross-functional collaboration to shape the future of our product ecosystem. You will lead ambiguity into clarity, define product visions, and deliver user-centered solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI & Emerging Tech Exploration: Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to solve complex user and business challenges.
  • End-to-End Product Strategy: Lead problem discovery, solution design, and phased execution plans (3-/6-/12-month roadmaps) for new product lines.
  • Design Execution: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web-based AI tools, ensuring alignment with user needs and technical feasibility.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to advocate for user-centric design and secure buy-in for strategic visions.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use qualitative/quantitative insights to inform design choices and measure success.
  • Ownership & Initiative: Proactively identify gaps, manage ambiguity, and drive projects forward with minimal direction.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/product design, with 2+ years focused on AI/ML-driven products.
  • Proven expertise in UX strategy, interaction design, information architecture, and design systems.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing AI/tech-driven projects, complex problem-solving, and stakeholder storytelling.
  • Experience designing web applications and working with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, research).
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, pivot priorities, and build processes in nascent environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting to executives and translating technical concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in financial services , portfolio analytics , or B2B SaaS.
  • Familiarity with VR/AR or generative AI tools.
  • Experience balancing long-term vision with iterative MVP delivery.
