Job Description
The Connexa Search Group is recruiting for a Construction Project Manager to join a privately held General Contractor based in Greenville, SC. This is a growth-oriented role with direct exposure to the CEO and executive leadership team. The firm offers a stable, entrepreneurial environment and the opportunity to manage a variety of commercial and industrial projects from start to finish.
This is a mostly in-office position, with site visits as needed (typically once per week). The role is ideal for someone who wants to broaden their impact across multiple phases of the construction lifecycle and gain meaningful visibility within a high-accountability, team-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all phases of assigned construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Coordinate project schedules, subcontractors, and materials to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
Serve as a liaison between field operations, office staff, vendors, and clients
Track and manage project budgets, change orders, and job cost reporting
Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings
Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting requirements, and contract terms
Prepare and deliver timely project updates to ownership and executive leadership
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Project Manager within a commercial or industrial general contractor environment
Strong understanding of construction scheduling, project management software, and cost controls
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, subcontractors, and deadlines effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable in a high-visibility role with interaction at the executive level
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Compensation:
Compensation will depend on experience
