Why You Want to Work Here:

Be part of a growing Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) that supports national defense infrastructure. This client values its people, promotes from within, and offers the chance to manage high-profile, mission-critical buildings with real impact.

Job Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Property Manager to lead building operations, manage staff, and maintain tenant satisfaction across a portfolio of commercial properties. You’ll oversee budgets, vendors, maintenance, and ensure a top-tier experience for tenants and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant relations and service delivery
  • Conduct regular property inspections and enforce lease compliance
  • Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets
  • Review and approve invoices; control costs; manage tenant billing and CAM reconciliations
  • Handle delinquent accounts and support collection efforts
  • Provide 24/7 on-call emergency support for assigned properties
  • Manage preventative maintenance programs and building operations
  • Supervise staff: hiring, training, performance reviews, and team development
  • Coordinate with vendors/subcontractors and oversee contracts and service levels
  • Support large projects, transitions, and company initiatives
  • Communicate consistently with internal teams including Asset Management and Finance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards

Who We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of commercial property management experience
  • 3+ years leading teams or direct reports
  • Strong budgeting, vendor management, and lease administration skills
  • Bachelor's in Business, Real Estate, or related field — or industry certifications (IREM, BOMA)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems
  • Organized, customer-focused, and calm under pressure
  • Able to climb ladders, access rooftops, and respond to emergencies after-hours
