Insight Global is looking for a Quality Control Manager to support a newly awarded USACE stormwater improvement project for the city of Albany. In this role you will work with the programmatic team and be responsible for field activities and will require responsibility for overall project safety performance.

-Interfacing with program and project managers, senior technical staff, the government customer, and project field personnel including subcontractors

-Performing as site lead for USACE Construction Quality Control compliance, documentation, and reporting

• Contractor Quality Control Daily Reports
• Contractor Production Reports
• Preparatory Phase Checklists o Initial Phase Checklists
• Deficiency/Rework Items List
• Testing Plan and Log
• Submittal Register
• Contractor’s Submittal Transmittal Form
• AHA

-Confirming that all materials and equipment have been tested and approved for use per the applicable specifications.

-Conducting completion inspections (punch-out, pre-final, and final acceptance)

-Maintaining current records and providing factual evidence that required quality control activities and/or tests have been performed

-Uploading and management of the USACE Resident Management System (RMS).

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ YOE as a Quality Control Manager
• 3+ YOE supporting U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects
• Civil Works construction project expereince, such as: o Levee/flood wall construction, installation of pump stations, flood/erosion control, storm sewer upgrades, drainage upgrades, stormwater systems, or restoration sites, wetland or mitigation site construction, streambank restoration, riprap placement etc.
• QCM certified – if expired, will take through refresher
• Expereince using RMS (USACE Resident Management System)
• OSHA 40-hr
