Job Title: Sr. AEM Developer

Location: Irving, Texas (Hybrid - 2 days/week onsite)

About the Role:

Hirobe is working with a leading financial institution who are embarking on a critical AEM migration project. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. AEM Developer to join the team in Irving, Texas.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in transitioning the existing static and dynamic content from older systems to a new AEM 6.5 platform, with a strong focus on a headless architecture. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of the digital content delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable AEM solutions for our content migration project, targeting AEM 6.5.
• Lead the development of AEM components, templates, and services, ensuring adherence to best practices and performance standards.
• Implement a headless AEM approach, leveraging GraphQL for efficient content delivery to various front-end applications.
• Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AEM.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an AEM Developer, with strong proficiency in AEM 6.x (AEM 6.5 experience highly preferred).
• Demonstrated experience with AEM migration projects, moving content from older systems to newer AEM versions.
• Proven expertise in developing AEM components, templates, OSGi services, workflows, and integrations.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with headless AEM implementations.
• Proficiency in GraphQL for content exposure and consumption.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, and other related technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with 2 days per week onsite in Irving, Texas.

Highly Desired (Big Plus):

• Experience working in the FinTech or Financial Services industry.
• Adobe Certified Developer certification
