Job Description

Fiducient Advisors provides tailored and personalized investment consulting services to clients such as retirement plan sponsors, endowments and foundations, private clients, and financial institutions. We operate with over 200 professionals nationwide, supporting our distinct purpose of helping clients prosper.

The Senior Research Analyst is responsible for conducting macro level private markets research, sourcing new ideas, conducting in depth diligence, as well as routinely presenting ideas and insights to clients .

Responsibilities:

  • Lead sourcing of new investment opportunities across private equity, private real assets, and private debt funds.
  • Conduct detailed investment due diligence on investments managers and their capabilities to add value above market returns.
  • Create original due diligence materials and reports including both quantitative and qualitative factors.
  • Make proactive and decisive recommendations that are presented to the firm’s Investment Committee
  • Maintain coverage of managers with existing client exposure and ongoing monitoring responsibilities.
  • Contribute to ongoing discussions regarding clients’ allocation and pacing models as well as their portfolio construction decisions.
  • Routinely participate in client conversations and meetings as well as prospective client meetings and pitches.
  • Contribute to and support macroeconomic research that supports the asset allocation modeling and tools utilized by clients.
  • Contribute to the mentorship of junior team members and cultivation of an open team dynamic.
  • Help build and enhance the tools and processes utilized.

Required Education, Professional & Technical Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Journalism – required
  • 8 – 10 years of overall work experience with a minimum of 4 – 6 years focused in private markets investment diligence
  • CFA Charter holder or progress in the CFA program – preferred
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – required
  • Established network and deep structural understanding of private equity funds, market landscape, and key organizations

Work Environment & Travel Requirements

  • This role may travel up to 15% of the time for business.
  • This role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotely.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$175,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
