Qualifications:

• Current State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
• Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders, or a related field
• Experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly K-12
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, speech-language pathologists, and other support staff
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and their impacts on learning
• Proficiency in implementing treatment plans and documenting student progress

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain records of student progress
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students requiring communication interventions
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive learning environment
• Conduct screenings and assessments as directed by the supervising therapist
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student needs and services
