This role focuses on providing essential services as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, working primarily with middle school caseloads.

Qualifications:

• Current SLPA certification or licensure
• Experience in school settings, particularly with high school or middle school students
• Familiarity with AAC devices and IEP development
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with students with ASD and Down Syndrome

Location: Tyler, TX

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Implement therapy plans as outlined in IEPs, focusing on individual student needs
• Assist in the assessment and documentation of students' progress
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student outcomes
