Job Description

In a supportive educational environment, professionals will provide essential services as Speech Language Pathologist Assistants for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position is located in Winnfield, LA, within a K-12 school setting.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in inclusive settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of child development and speech/language disorders
• Commitment to providing quality support to students and educators

Location:
Winnfield, LA (K-12 School Environment)

Responsibilities:

• Assist Speech Language Pathologists in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students
• Provide direct and indirect speech and language services as outlined by supervising therapists
• Maintain documentation of student progress and attendance
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support students' communication needs
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required
• Ensure compliance with all state and district regulations regarding speech therapy services
