Role Overview: We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Insurance Compliance Post-Closing team. The role involves reviewing and ensuring compliance with insurance policies, processing insurance waivers, handling complex insurance compliance matters related to Agency and Company requirements, and guiding the insurance team.

Primary Duties:

  • Proficient in loan documentation, real estate, investor, and company guidelines regarding insurance administration.
  • Assist in compliance audits for the insurance team.
  • Coordinate and lead departmental training.
  • Communicate with internal and external clients on insurance matters.
  • Provide guidance on departmental processes, including non-compliant policies, flood reviews, and waivers.
  • Collaborate with Servicing, Asset Management, and external parties to resolve procedural or compliance issues.
  • Conduct meetings with stakeholders regarding insurance coverage and requirements.
  • Monitor catastrophic insurance compliance.
  • Review performance standards.
  • Manage and coach team members to ensure effectiveness and deadlines are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or at least five years of relevant experience in insurance and multifamily loan servicing.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Understanding of Agency Insurance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
