Do you love giving dogs and cats soothing baths or helping them feel better with shed treatments? Our grooming departments have given us the opportunity to "beautify" some of Richmond's most fashionable pets for over 50 years! Our grooming departments bathe and de-matt, provide anti-shedding treatments, anal gland expressions, pedicures and teeth brushing, along with a variety of other "spa" services.
REQUIREMENTS
Want to work hands-on with dogs and cats? Apply today! Full time employees may be eligible for access to company sponsored medical, dental and vision insurance, company paid life and long term disability insurance and generous paid time off. Part-time, or less than 30 hours weekly, starts at $13.50/hr. Full-time employment starts at $15.50/hr. Plus a $2 an-hour increase for anyone who works weekends. This workplace is moderately and physically demanding. Candidates must have the ability to lift and push up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, be able to bend, stoop, reach, and stretch, along with the ability to move pets within the facility, vehicles, up and down stairs, and in and out of enclosures. The workplace is typified as a loud working environment - barking dogs, high-pressure dryers, etc.
