Gabriella Kusz has been a global financial, technology and regulatory leader for over 20 years.  She has extensive experience in finance, edge technology, international affairs, institution building, and global policy. Over the course of her career, she has held senior roles for the World Bank Group, the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the Digital Dollar Project and the Global Digital Asset and Cryptocurrency Association.  In the field of Artificial Intelligence, Gabriella currently serves as a Senior Fellow at the AI2030 Initiative, where she focuses on responsible innovation in the area of artificial intelligence. She is also an official representative on behalf of the United States to the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Technical Committee 68 – Financial Services. To earn the role, she was balloted and approved by the FIX Trading Community as well as X9, the US national standards setting body and correspondent entity for the United States.  In addition to general membership and representation at ISO, Gabriella also serves as Convenor for Advisory Group 6 on Artificial Intelligence. In this role she is responsible for leading representatives from ministries, regulators and private sector organizations such as China Union Pay, Wells Fargo, and Mastercard in developing the basis for standards-setting at the intersection of AI and Financial Services. Gabriella was also recently advanced to the position of Co-Convenor of the Joint Working Group TC68 / SC42, which will coordinate efforts of these two key bodies to develop AI standards.
