Who we are

AI 2030 is a global nonprofit advancing safe, responsible, and inclusive AI to turn technological potential into lasting human progress.

We do this by accelerating AI solutions to humanity’s greatest challenges, advancing the standards and safeguards that enable trusted AI innovation, and scaling impact through education, entrepreneurship, and collaborative action.

We unite global leaders, innovators, investors, policymakers, and communities to break down barriers, shape the future of AI, and transform global collaboration into measurable local impact.

Why We Exist

AI innovation is accelerating, but human progress is not keeping pace. Breakthroughs remain concentrated, real-world solutions struggle to scale, people lack critical skills, and safety systems lag behind. Without collective action, AI risks widening divides instead of creating opportunities for all.

Why 2030? Why a global movement?

The window to shape AI’s future is closing. The time to act is now.

2030 is a defining milestone. The decisions we make today will determine whether AI accelerates human progress or deepens inequality, systemic risks, and harms that may be impossible to reverse. Mainstreaming responsible AI by 2030 is not just an ambition—it is a global imperative.

No single government, company, or institution can achieve this alone. We need a global movement that mobilizes leaders, innovators, investors, policymakers, and communities to identify challenges, co-create effective solutions, and scale what works.

01

2030 is our deadline.

02

Collective action is our strategy.

03

Lasting human progress is our goal.
