Washington DC 2027

Safe AI for Financial Excellence and Resilience

Safe AI goes on Main Street's finance agenda.

On April 14, 2027, during the World Bank and IMF Spring Meetings week, AI 2030 convenes credit unions, community and enterprise banks, regulators, multilateral institutions and digital-asset leaders in Washington DC for one day on adopting AI and stablecoins safely.

While the world's finance ministers and central bankers are in Washington, SAFER brings the institutions that serve Main Street into the room to decide how AI and digital money can be adopted safely.

Why Washington, why Spring Meetings week?

The Spring Meetings put the people who set global finance policy within a few blocks of the people who run US financial regulation. SAFER connects both to the institutions that serve households and small businesses.

01Global policymakers

Finance ministries, central banks, the World Bank, IFC, IMF and BIS teams are in town, and many add side events.

02US regulators

The Federal Reserve, CFPB, FDIC, OCC, NCUA and Treasury are local, as are the bank, credit union and digital-asset trade groups.

03A global story

Cooperative and community lenders serve hundreds of millions of people, tying SAFER to the inclusion agenda.

04Cross-border money

Remittances and payments link the US stablecoin regime to emerging markets, a live topic for the IMF and BIS.

05Our home turf

Responsible AI in finance is where AI 2030 works every day: applied, responsible and impact AI.
