About AI 2030
AI 2030 is a global nonprofit advancing responsible AI. We bring together the people, capabilities and partners needed to make AI safe, trustworthy and beneficial, with a North Star of improving one million lives by 2030. Our work spans Global Membership, the AI 2030 Institute, AI 2030 Labs, the Accelerator, Global Events and the Responsible AI Marketplace.
About the role
As our Communications Intern, you will help AI 2030 reach leaders, members and the public. You will create content, support campaigns for Chicago AI Week and global Summits, and help our community see the impact of responsible AI.
What you will do
- Write and schedule social media posts across LinkedIn, X, Instagram and YouTube
- Draft newsletter stories, blog posts and event recaps
- Support press releases and media outreach
- Create simple graphics and short videos for campaigns
- Cover AI 2030 events and capture speaker highlights
- Track channel performance and share insights
What we are looking for
- Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a degree in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Comfort with social media platforms and content tools
- Interest in AI, technology and social impact
Nice to have
- Experience with Canva, Adobe or video editing
- Familiarity with HubSpot or email marketing tools
- A portfolio of writing or social content
